Appetite Helping Northfield Academy Aspire to Be Oustanding

Appetite for Business were delighted to sponsor their Computing Science Award for their annual Awards Ceremony.  Northfield Academy aims to be a school committed to continuous improvement and the delivery of the highest quality learning. The Awards Ceremony promotes positivity amongst the pupils, parents, staff and partners.  As a result it therefore,  encourages the pupils to “aspire to be outstanding” (Northfield School Motto) and achieve success.

The 12th annual Northfield Academy Celebration of Success awards ceremony was held in the Beach Ballroom. The event was held to  celebrate pupils’ hard work in volunteering, sport, music and art.

Sheryl Newman, managing director of Appetite, said: “When Northfield approached us with the idea of getting involved we had no hesitation in saying yes. As a local company, supporting local schools and projects is very important to us and we actively look forward to getting involved. I was delighted to not only attend but take part in the actual prize giving. It was especially  fantastic to see a school so committed to helping the students to showcase their talents, whether academic, musical or by getting involved within the community. For young people success isn’t just about attending university or making lots of money, it’s achieving the goals you set out to. Furthermore,  as a school, Northfield, should feel suitably proud”.

Acting Head Teacher Mr Will said “the Celebration of Success Ceremony is a fantastic opportunity for families, school staff and school partners to come together and celebrate the outstanding achievements and successes of our school. Students who have excelled to achieve their aspirations and ambitions in the glamour of the Beach Ballroom.  It is the highlight of the school year and the culmination of the excellent work undertaken by school staff, parents and our students in partnership with each other throughout the academic session.  It is an evening where we will all be proud to be part of the Northfield Academy family.”
